February’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box included:
100% Pure Dual Ended Eye Creamstick in Cotton/Silk,* $25 (← the value of this covers the cost of the entire box!) – SO stoked to see one of my favorite all-natural makeup lines in this month’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. I’m CRAZY about this item – this creamy shadow stick (btw, how beautiful are these complementary neutral shimmery shades?) glides on effortless and LASTS for hours. And it’s of course, made with pure oils, butters, waxes, and pigments – it’s perfect for those with sensitive eyes, too. Swatched below.
Harvey Prince Yogini Rollerball Perfume, $23 (← another item worth more than the box) – Harvey Prince has been poppin’ up in subby boxes all over the place! Yogini has notes of sandalwood, golden amber, sensual incense (←where can I bulk order that?!), Egyptian myrrh, pink grapefruit, black currant buds, lily of the valley, star jasmine, rose petals, ylang-ylang, cardamom, and Madagascar vanilla. I’ve tried a few HP scents, and their Madagascar Vanilla is by far my fave, but this is a nice earthy, sexy, floral perfume – especially if you like stronger perfumey-fumes (vs. straight up essential oil blends, which I’ve been gravitating toward lately).
Tara Smith Haircare Base Coat Hair Serum, $13 – I live in Portland, y’all. Portland = rain = perpetual frizz (totes worth it for the # of vegan eateries, though). 😉 I don’t wash my hair super regularly (I’m a no poo gal in between washed – it’s how I keep my pink its pinkiest), so I haven’t tried this out yet, but my frizzball head is already dying to get slathered in this ish. Btw, how adorbs is the packaging?!
The Wonder Seed English Daisy Facial Cream,* $16.95 – This is my second tube of this face cream (I believe I received one in a previous subscription box), and it’s quite lovely. It’s light yet moisturizing and it doesn’t freak my sensitive-ish skin out. I mostly slather my face with oils before bed, but if I’m feeling particularly greasy, I’ll use a light face cream like this one instead. This has a refreshing, pretty scent, too.

Overall impression: There’s a lot of bang for the buck in this month’s beauty box (everything together is valued over $70!), and it was a lovely mix of skin care, hair care, and makeup! Box faves: 100% Pure’s Eye Creamsticks (Looooooove!! I want all the shades!) and The Wonder Seed’s face cream since I’ve already been rocking this in my beauty routine for some time now. I have pre-existing mad love for both of these companies. Only one brand in this box was new to me, and I’m excited to now be acquainted with Tara Smith Hair Care – gonna check out the rest of her hair care line out tonight.
